Two ways to clean

Brush machines clean by contact. Ephesus and CIRRUS 5N use rotating brushes on the Brush Swing system with brush pressure control, alongside high-pressure side and wheel washers, V-jet chemical spray and a chassis wash.

The ACROBAT 2X cleans with water and chemical foam. Its two arms move on six axes, and nozzles fed by a 100 or 200 bar pump send a vibrating, pulsating jet. Wraps, matte paint, fresh finishes and liveries that must not be touched are the cases Europe Makine lists it for.

Both kinds come on the same supply terms: a proforma quotation at no charge, door-to-door shipping and a 12-month warranty, with US service from Greenacres, Florida.

Vehicle size

Ephesus washes up to 3.00 m high and 2.20 m wide, which takes vans, jeeps and minibuses as well as cars. The ACROBAT 2X washes up to 2.20 m high and 2.20 m wide. CIRRUS 5N washing height is set by the variant.

For buses, coaches, rigid trucks and trailers, Europe Makine builds the SUNRISE gantry, with an optional brushless Hydrowash for liveried vehicles.

Utilities side by side

The two wash methods draw on a site differently. Ephesus has 3 kW installed and uses 0.15 kWh per vehicle on 380 V / 50 Hz. The ACROBAT 2X runs on 400 V with 75 kW installed across its washing and drying units.

Water is published per minute for the Ephesus, 60-80 lt/min while running, and per vehicle for the ACROBAT 2X, 18-250 lt. Air follows the same pattern: 56 lt/min while running on the Ephesus and 20 lt/min on the ACROBAT 2X, both at 6 bar.

Choosing between them

  1. List the tallest vehicle

    Vehicles up to 2.20 m high and 2.20 m wide fit both the ACROBAT 2X and the Ephesus, and the Ephesus washes to 3.00 m high. Buses, coaches and trucks go to the SUNRISE gantry.

  2. Look at the finishes

    Wrapped, matte and freshly finished vehicles, and liveries that must not be touched, point to the ACROBAT 2X.

  3. Check the power supply

    Plan for 400 V and 75 kW installed for the ACROBAT 2X with all units, or 380 V / 50 Hz and 3 kW for the Ephesus.

  4. Pick the brush count

    Three brushes on the Ephesus, five on the CIRRUS 5N with four independent uprights.
